"Welcome to the Employment area of the Berwins Solicitors' website. My name is
Natalie Saunders and I am head of the Employment Unit.
Employment law is one of those areas that affects most people - at some stage
everyone is likely to have been either an employer or employee. The media therefore
devotes increasing numbers of column inches to employment law and HR issues and
publicises the potentially significant payouts that may result if the employment
relationship breaks down.
As a nation, we are therefore becoming more aware of employment law and its far-reaching
grasp than we have ever been before.
Unfortunately, awareness does not equate to understanding. Nor does it equate
to more compliance and fewer employment tribunal claims.
That's where the Berwins' Employment Unit comes in.
