I am Paul Berwin, the Head of Commercial Law at Berwins solicitors.  Even leaving aside Property, Employment and Dispute Resolution, Commercial Law covers a wide range of different areas, and at Berwins we try to apply our goal of extraordinary service in this area.
 
We cover Corporate Transactions, which include Business Acquisitions and Sales, Re-structures, Management Buy-Outs and other similar transactional matters; I also deal with commercial matters, which typically will include Business Agreements, Terms and Conditions, and all manner of documents which are essential for businesses to get right in order to be safe and secure as they proceed.
 
In this area we have also developed a real niche strength in IT, Intellectual Property and related areas.  Most notably we act for numerous, and geographically diverse (including international) companies in Software Licensing, Service Provision, Outsourced Services, and similar arrangements which have information technology at their core.  Our work in this area has been recognised by the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners Directory, in both which we are highly rated.
